Foursquare Rum Distillery Exceptional Cask Selections

Foursquare Rum Distillery is located on a former sugar plantation that dates back to approximately 1720, within the tiny Caribbean island of Barbados. The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996, distilling operations and blending are currently directed by Richard Seale, 4th Generation Trader/Distiller of R.L. Seale & Co.

Exceptional Cask Selections represent the unique, and rare offerings of Foursquare Rum Distillery that Richard has hand selected – his personal projects only released when he feels they are of exceptional quality. These are one of a kind expressions, available only for a limited time, and showcasing truly unique approaches to both Rum blending and maturation.

Mark XXIV “2011”

Single Blended Rum, Aged for 12 years in a combination of first, second and third fill Ex-Bourbon barrels, bottled at 60% ABV. No Color. No Sugar. No Additives. No Filtration. Distilled, Matured, Blended & Bottled entirely on island in Barbados.

Mark XXIII “Covenant”

The oldest official distillery release to date. A blend of rums distilled on the double-retort pot and twin column Coffey stills at Foursquare. Aged for 18 years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels. No color, no sugar, no additives, no filtration. Distilled, Matured, Blended & Bottled entirely on island in Barbados.

Mark XXII “Touchstone”

A blend of two distinct single blended rums, both 14 years of age. One aged 5 years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels then transferred to Ex-Cognac Casks for 9 additional years, and a second aged 12 years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels then transferred into Ex-Camus Cognac Casks for an additional 2 years. Bottled at 61% ABV – 122 Proof. No sugar, no color, no additives, no filtration. Distilled, Matured, Blended & Bottled entirely on island in Barbados.
